Your In-Game Name: Fleet LT CO Vex
Suggestion: Rakghoul Infection SWEP
Addons Needed (workshop link): https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=617610563
Reason: We can all agree infection events can be alittle boring with only colouring or fists being used! Well worry no more! With this SWEP we can become Rakghoul which the Medics do have a vaccine within their database already for! The reason this would be cool is to allow the infection events to be more unique and enjoyable, there is different visions and attacks. Could be a pretty cool and with a small file size, it could prove a really intresting piece of equipment for the server. It also has "Infected leaves" in the entity which all for the event host to randomly place them and make people Rakghoul.

Weve had this addon on the server ages ago its def a fun one but from exprience was hard to get the infection to effectivly stop bc all it took was a single scratch from an infected for it to spread so it was hard for the event to stop without the event host slaying all the infected.

As a balance to this! When they are used, we could ensure that they are low HP enemies therefore troopers would be able to hopefully take them out before they infect too many people!

+1 i like this finally can be more real and effective infection event were we can hold medbays until cure is made also this thing is in medical SS!!

Idk if you can edit how the thing works but would be maybe intresting concept to have as it says force users be immune

Or could simply edit the document so it affects force users

infection events are boring so aslong as there is only one per month this seems aight

Edit: this might help them be a little less shit, people just don't care about zombies in star wars. Also event hosts just infect people and call it a day there's the event story. I don't think I have ever seen a good infection event.

But my lore tom
Could simply use a different name for it, just because its the rakghoul swep it could be just given a different name to use. I imagine it would be very tough to make it so jedi jobs dont get affected

"The infected victim, no matter the species or Force-sensitivity, would then slowly mutate into a rakghoul within a timeframe spanning mere hours."

*cough*

My 30 seconds of research was better than yours (I think, I could still be wrong lol) ;)

i just read this icl, i skimmed over it pretty quick haha but you might be right

after a bit more reading, it seems that rakghoul plague was actually engineered to circumvent this exact weakness of the talisman - so yeah, force users can be affected by it. no problems here

You guys all just need to play SW:TOR and you'll find out more than enough about the Rakghoul plague lmao! But yeah like we can easily make it so the jedi could be the ones to save the clones! There's many different RP routes with it to explore! Its an attempt to make the Infected Events less boring and more interesting for all players.

This point is true but hopefully with this SWEP it could create for more interesting storylines. I mean the point about zombies i disagree, many people care about zombies, prime example is Blackwing, just today SDW did a Blackwing themed spec ops so with this, it can enhance these elements. Plus even within normal events this could be added as a third party EE and add a lay to an event

+1, I love the Virus. This might make the infection event a little bit better?

Hopefully it'll make infection events run smoother and be more enjoyable for everyone. Like i said previously it could be also useful for a deeper layer within planetaries with these being a 3rd party faction!

+2 Infection Events at the moment are really stale and there's very little that the current Infection resources can offer to spice them up a bit which is a shame as the best infection events have the potential to be the servers best
