Complaint: False warning out of spite and prior altercations

Summary: Hosted assassination training -> asked rear admiral first for targets for training -> got targets -> announced kos -> go kill target -> cloak back to bunks and announce no longer kos -> go back to base -> Agent Walt is angry coz I didn't say in comms " Assassination training I'm kos" rather, I said " I'm KOS" (which is the whole point of Assassination training and is how I've always done it in inquisitors even hosted by GI and Vader the same way we do not need to specify and say ASSASSINATION WE'RE KOS, what matters is we're KOS, also I told the rear admiral and he was the one to give me the target. Agent Walt and I had a little back and forth and when I left I looked in chat and I see an RDM warning for doing a training so here I am.

I would provide the chat between me and Walt but he used voice and I typed so wouldn't be much use and I don't have it recorded, but basically he was upset that I didn't say the word "ASSASSINATION" and only said I'm KOS and he turned an IC situation into an OOC and RDM warned me for no reason.

For assassination trainings, you must announce that you are doing one in comms. You just said "I'm KOS" and "No longer KOS".



Looking at the time stamps you said that within just over a minute. You were the only inquisitor on and First never granted the assassination, and neither did the OD as you were "hosting a training" on the base and requires permission from the OD specifically. No assassination training was granted, so killing Void is counted as RDM.

As well as that you were using a weapon you shouldn't have and got from the first event which got dropped to you, breaking the bronze rule.

Yes you may have asked me for a target but you still need to get perms from OD to do the assassination training as it was held on base

Hello Sigma,

After further investigation, it appears that the rules for assassination training were not followed. It clearly states in the Inquisitorious rules, of which you should be aware of as a member of Inquisitorious, and affirmed by Scott, that only Grand Inquisitor/Vader may host assassination trainings. Additionally, the training must be granted by the OD and staff informed which did not occur. (See attached from Inquisitorious spreadsheet). Therefore, as this was never a training to begin with according to the rules, the kill qualifies for RDM. Since the weapon you used to kill the player was not in your loadout, it also questions the arguement of the intention for it to be a training to begin with, as trainings should revolve around the regiments equipment to begin with.



Despite prior frustrations between yourself and Walt, he was following his duty as a staff member after hearing word of this from the player to look into the incident for possible rule-breakings, which in this case was valid.

The warning will remain, please follow the rules in future.
