Suggestion:

Give our cloak no footstep sounds again


Reason:

It was removed without anyone voting on it or even being suggested and removed because some devs thought we shouldn't have had it.
This isn't something that should be decided by anyone without a suggestion let alone devs.
For over a year SDW have been told it was a bug and every time we have made a bug report nothing was answered to us only thing I have been told was something along the lines of "They tried to fix it but couldn't"

SDW cloak is a unique thing for SDW and ever since we have had our footsteps being heard its been harder and harder to do anything with EEs being able to hear our footsteps as well as when we do assassination training its very easy to spot us due to garrys mod footsteps sounding like leshy walking to the fridge and back.

Like I said we waited over a year for anything of this to be answered only to be told recently that people have decided to go behind SDWs back and remove it because that's how they think.

Hi Matty, this does not require a suggestion.

While I was aware of the issue with the Electro-plating cloak, which is no longer used, we did manage to somehow miss the recent bug report regarding the standard cloak having this same issue.
Not sure how we managed to miss it, as we do regularly review the open bug reports however I have added it to our list of open bugs and will have someone look into it ASAP.

I would however also like to clear up some of the points made in your suggestion. Devs are not allowed to alter suggestions etc without consulting me, then I will in turn discuss it with another senior, with any alterations being made clear to the affected parties and on the forum reply. While this can happen occasionally (happened recently with Fleet Binoculars). This was not the case with the SDW Footsteps.

I shall also try and get some new replies to some of our older bug reports, to update people on any issues etc we are having with them, over the next week or so.
